White was born deaf, which seems to be a related problem to white furred cats who have odd colored eyes, as white has one blue and one hazel. Lucky for White she was adopted by a loving lady called Lu who taught her from an early age to read her body language so White knew when she was being called, Lu would tap the floor when walking into a room so White could feel the vibrations and know Lu had come in. I suppose a plus for White is that because she is deaf she has a much more defined and sharper vision than other cats, when we lose one of our senses others tend to kick in overdrive to make up for it.

White loves to be fussed and petted. She often walks up to Lu for love and attention. A sense of touch provides smoothingness to many deaf cats.
